Re: 2020 Movies
The Gentleman is catastrophically bad. Accents all over the place, ridiculous story, laughably poor script. A couple of amusing bits but overall an absolute car crash. Guy Ritchie should knock it on the head.

JoJo Rabbit is great.

Movies are progressively getting worse year after year. No new ideas.

The only movie from last year I thought was any good was Joker.

After the ‘woke, diversity, SJW’ appeasing box office disasters that were Terminator Dark Fate, Dark Phoenix, Charlie’s Angels and the Disney Star Wars excrement amongst many others, hopefully Hollywood has learned that the customers want to be entertained and not preached to.

Re: 2020 Movies
I was really looking forward to the last 'Halloween' film as it was disregarding all the shitty sequels that followed the original. Turns out it was just as cliched and just as crap as said sequels. Stupid teen girls stumbling up the stairs whilst Michael Myers follows at a snail's pace - and he still catches them. Doubt 'Halloween Kills' will be any different.

Re: 2020 Movies
Already seen JOJO Rabbit and Uncut Gems from this list, both very very good and worth a watch. TaiKa Wahiti is one of the best directors around currently and plays a great Hitler.

Uncut gems is very good seeing another side of Sandler's acting that i didnt know he had. May have dragged on a little but certainly didnt see the ending coming.

Re: 2020 Movies
I'm quite surprised by this, but I have the complete opposite opinion on The Gentlemen to Vexed. It's not quite as good as Lock Stock or Snatch but its a very good comedy/gangster film. Most of the cinema was in bits for a lot of the film.

I would agree on the accents, especially Hunnam's.

Agree re The Gentleman, its a good comedy / gangster movie, decent script, a little too much Guy Ritchie product placement, but a good movie to see and some funny lines.

Would definitely recommend it than suggest giving it a swerve...

Thats Taika Wahiti the director, one of the fastest rising directors in the business. He directed Thor Ragnarok which was hystetical and he voiced Korg in it the guy made of rocks whos tole the show.

Watched the new Jay & Silent Bob film last night, pretty terrible and very dumb but was a nice flashback to my youth, used to love them back in the day.

I really enjoyed the gentlemen.

Thought Grant, Farrell and the lady from downton were excellent.

Humans a geordie innit, I presumed that was his actual accent????
